A Clockwork Orange - VHS Used

A Clockwork Orange (VHS, 2001) – Warner Home Video – Stanley Kubrick Collection – Sci-Fi Drama

In a dystopian, near-future Britain, a charismatic, classical-music-loving sociopath leads his band of teenage thugs on a horrific, nightly rampage of absolute ultra-violence. When a betrayal by his gang leaves him in police custody, he is selected as the prime test subject for an experimental government rehabilitation project known as the Ludovico Technique. Programmed to become physically nauseous at the mere thought of violence, he is thrust back out into the brutal society he once terrorized—now entirely stripped of his free will and completely defenseless against his former victims.

Directed by visionary mastermind Stanley Kubrick, A Clockwork Orange stars Malcolm McDowell in his definitive lead performance alongside Patrick Magee, Michael Bates, Warren Clarke, and Adrienne Corri. Based on Anthony Burgess's legendary satirical novel, this highly collectible 2001 physical media release from the official Stanley Kubrick Collection brings the stylized, deeply disturbing masterpiece of psychological horror, political satire, and dystopian mayhem to the warm, authentic analog format of magnetic tape.
