Airheads DVD (1994) – Brendan Fraser – Adam Sandler – Steve Buscemi – Rock Comedy Cult Classic
Turn up the volume with Airheads (1994), the outrageous rock comedy starring Brendan Fraser, Adam Sandler, and Steve Buscemi as three struggling musicians willing to do almost anything to get their band heard. Packed with '90s alternative-rock attitude, rebellious humor, and a memorable cast, this cult favorite is a must-have for fans of rock music movies and classic 1990s comedies.
The story follows Chazz Darby, Rex and Pip, members of an aspiring heavy metal band called The Lone Rangers. Frustrated by record labels and radio stations that refuse to give them a chance, the trio storms a Los Angeles radio station armed with toy guns, hoping to force the DJs to play their demo. Their supposedly harmless publicity stunt quickly spirals out of control when police surround the building and the situation becomes a media sensation.
Directed by Michael Lehmann, Airheads features Brendan Fraser as Chazz, Steve Buscemi as Rex, and Adam Sandler as Pip, alongside Chris Farley, David Arquette, Michael McKean, Ernie Hudson, and Judd Nelson. With its satire of the music industry, memorable rock soundtrack, and chaotic comedy, the film has earned a lasting following among fans of '90s cult cinema.
A fun addition to a collection of retro comedies, music-themed movies, and films featuring some of the era’s biggest comedy stars.
