Barb Wire (DVD, 1996) – Pamela Anderson – Sci-Fi Action Cult Classic

In a dystopian future torn apart by a second American Civil War, Steel Harbor remains one of the last free cities. Barb Wire is a tough nightclub owner who moonlights as a mercenary, taking on dangerous jobs while trying to stay out of the city's political conflict. But when her former lover Axel Hood returns with his wife, a resistance fighter carrying vital information, Barb finds herself caught between personal loyalties and a dangerous mission that could change the course of the war.

Starring Pamela Anderson in the iconic title role, Barb Wire is a stylish blend of science-fiction action, comic-book adventure, dystopian mayhem, and '90s cult cinema. Directed by David Hogan, the film also features Temuera Morrison, Victoria Rowell, Jack Noseworthy, Xander Berkeley, Udo Kier, and Steve Railsback. Based on the Dark Horse Comics character, it's a memorable slice of mid-'90s genre filmmaking.
