A gothic horror classic from the legendary Hammer Film Productions, The Brides of Dracula follows Professor Van Helsing as he confronts a new vampire menace after a young schoolteacher unknowingly frees the sinister Baron Meinster from captivity. As the Baron’s influence spreads and more victims fall under his curse, Van Helsing races to stop the outbreak before it consumes the countryside.
Directed by Terence Fisher, the film is one of Hammer’s most celebrated entries, featuring lavish gothic atmosphere, vibrant color cinematography, and a memorable performance by Peter Cushing as Van Helsing. Although often associated with Hammer’s Dracula series, the film notably does not feature Christopher Lee, whose Count Dracula does not appear in this installment.
