A tense supernatural horror thriller, Lighthouse (released on some home video editions as Dead of Night) follows a group of strangers stranded at a remote lighthouse, where they soon discover they are not alone. As fear and paranoia mount, a mysterious evil force begins claiming victims one by one, forcing the survivors to confront both the darkness around them and the secrets they carry.
Directed by Simon Hunter, the film combines isolated setting suspense, psychological horror, and slasher-style tension to create an atmospheric late-’90s cult horror experience.
