Double Dragon - Blu-ray

Double Dragon (Blu-ray, 1994) – MVD Rewind Collection – Robert Patrick & Mark Dacascos – Action Sci-Fi

In the post-apocalyptic, earthquake-ravaged ruins of "New Angeles" in the year 2007, two martial artist brothers come into possession of an ancient, powerful Chinese amulet. This mystical artifact grants its wearer absolute physical invulnerability, making them the prime target of a ruthless, power-hungry crime lord who already owns the matching half of the medallion. As the syndicate unleashes heavily mutated street gangs to seize the missing piece, the brothers must master their martial arts skills and join forces with a rebellious underground resistance movement to prevent total global tyranny.

Directed by James Yukich, Double Dragon stars Mark Dacascos and Scott Wolf as the Lee brothers alongside Robert Patrick, Alyssa Milano, and Julia Nickson. Based on the legendary, pioneering 1980s side-scrolling arcade video game franchise by Technōs Japan, this premium 2022 boutique physical media release from the MVD Rewind Collection delivers a high-octane blast of 90s nostalgia, combining martial arts choreography, cyberpunk set pieces, campy humor, and classic post-apocalyptic action mayhem.
