Gabe Kaplan stars in this late-’70s underdog basketball comedy about a New York deli clerk who jumps at the chance to coach a tiny Nevada college team. With a roster of misfits, hidden backstories, and a whole lot of improvisation on and off the court, he tries to turn a hopeless squad into something resembling champions. Light, character-driven, and packed with that classic feel-good sports-movie charm.
