Fearless Vampire Killers - VHS Used

The Fearless Vampire Killers VHS (1966/1967) – Sharon Tate – Roman Polanski – MGM Gothic Horror Comedy – Cult Classic

Roman Polanski’s The Fearless Vampire Killers blends gothic atmosphere, slapstick comedy, and classic vampire-movie chills in an offbeat cult favorite featuring Sharon Tate, Roman Polanski, and Jack MacGowran.

Professor Abronsius, an eccentric vampire researcher, travels to a remote Transylvanian village with his nervous assistant Alfred. When the innkeeper’s beautiful daughter, Sarah Shagal (Sharon Tate), is abducted by the sinister Count von Krolock, the unlikely vampire hunters venture into the Count’s castle to rescue her. What follows is a strange and darkly comic adventure filled with suspicious villagers, elaborate vampire lore, and an unforgettable undead ballroom sequence.

Directed and co-written by Roman Polanski, this atmospheric horror comedy stands out for its snowy European setting, elaborate gothic visuals, and distinctive mix of macabre humor and supernatural thrills. Also known as Dance of the Vampires in some releases, it remains a memorable entry in 1960s vampire cinema and a collectible title for fans of Sharon Tate, Roman Polanski, and cult horror.
