Graduation Day (Betamax, 1982 – Columbia Gatefold)
A cult slasher favorite from the golden age of early ’80s horror, Graduation Day follows a group of high school track team members who begin falling victim to a mysterious killer dressed in athletic gear after the sudden death of their teammate during a race. As graduation approaches, paranoia mounts and the body count rises, leaving the surviving students scrambling to uncover the identity of the murderer.
Directed by Herb Freed, the film blends classic whodunit suspense with plenty of slasher tropes and memorable kills. It also features genre icon Christopher George in one of his final performances, alongside appearances by Patch Mackenzie, E. Danny Murphy, and a young Vanna White.
