House of Wax (DVD, 2005) – Paris Hilton – Widescreen – Supernatural Slasher Horror

Step inside a terrifying museum where the exhibits are far more lifelike than they should be in House of Wax, the 2005 supernatural slasher horror film directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. A modern reimagining of the classic wax-museum horror concept, this gruesome thriller delivers creepy atmosphere, elaborate practical effects, and memorable kills.

When a group of college friends traveling to a football game find themselves stranded near a remote town, they discover a strange wax museum filled with disturbingly realistic figures. As they explore the deserted streets, they uncover the horrifying secret behind the town's attractions and realize that they are being hunted by the twisted individuals responsible. Their fight to escape becomes a desperate struggle for survival inside a world where victims can become permanent works of art.

Featuring Elisha Cuthbert, Chad Michael Murray, Brian Van Holt, and Paris Hilton, House of Wax became a memorable entry in the wave of 2000s slasher remakes. With its gruesome set pieces, eerie setting, and unforgettable wax-covered horrors, the film is a great addition to collections of early-2000s horror, slasher movies, and cult genre favorites.
