Husk (DVD, 2011) – After Dark Originals – Devon Graye & Wes Chatham – Horror Thriller

When a sudden swarm of crows smashes into their windshield, a group of five college friends crash their vehicle next to an isolated, seemingly endless cornfield. Stranded in the middle of nowhere, they seek assistance at an old, abandoned farmhouse nearby, only to discover a terrifying supernatural presence lurking among the crops. One by one, they are hunted down by a malevolent force that reanimates its victims as stitched-together, bloodthirsty scarecrows, forcing the remaining survivors into a desperate, paranoid battle to break the curse before the field claims them all.

Directed and written by Brett Simmons based on his acclaimed short film, Husk stars Devon Graye, Wes Chatham, C.J. Thomason, Tammin Sursok, and Ben Easter. Released as part of the celebrated After Dark Originals film series, this suspenseful creature-feature blends classic slasher tropes with supernatural tension and intense psychological dread, making it a standout entry for independent horror physical media collectors.
