IBS: Irritable Bowel Syndrome - DVD Used

IBS: Irritable Bowel Syndrome (DVD, 2013) – Mike O’Mahony – Cult Splatter Comedy Horror – Underground Gore

When life gives Larry a miserable case of irritable bowel syndrome, he discovers an outrageously gruesome solution in I.B.S.: Irritable Bowel Syndrome, an underground horror comedy from filmmaker Mike O’Mahony. Larry is a lovable loser whose chronic condition makes everyday life a nightmare, especially as he struggles with workplace bullying and his crush on coworker Heather. But after an accidental killing brings him unexpected relief, Larry discovers what he believes is the perfect cure: murder. As the bodies begin piling up, his search for a normal life spirals into increasingly twisted and bloody territory.

Written and directed by Mike O’Mahony, this outrageous independent horror film combines gross-out humor, over-the-top violence, splatter effects, and deliberately tasteless comedy. James Costa stars as Larry, alongside Sean Flaherty, Lauren Ojeda, and D.M. Folger Jr.

A bizarre entry in underground B-movie horror, I.B.S.: Irritable Bowel Syndrome is suited to fans of extreme comedy, low-budget splatter films, and the stranger corners of independent cult cinema.
