Raptor (VHS, 2001) – New Concorde – Eric Roberts – Dinosaur Horror
When Sheriff Jim Tanner investigates a series of gruesome deaths in a small town, the evidence points to something far more dangerous than ordinary wildlife. Tanner and animal control officer Barbara Phillips soon discover that genetically engineered dinosaurs have escaped from a secret laboratory—and they’re hunting.
Directed by Jim Wynorski and produced by Roger Corman, Raptor is quintessential early-2000s New Concorde B-movie horror. The film combines newly shot material with dinosaur footage from Corman’s Carnosaur series, making it a particularly fun pickup for fans of cult dinosaur movies and low-budget creature features.
