As his skills grow, so does his obsession with revenge, leading to increasingly brutal confrontations and one of the most memorable finales in martial arts cinema. Originally released in Hong Kong in 1980 and later issued on VHS by Xenon as part of the Shaolin Dolemite Collection.

Known for its intense fight choreography, wild energy, and unforgettable “mad mantis” climax, The Thundering Mantis remains a favorite among collectors of vintage kung fu tapes and Wu-Tang Collection releases.
