Return to the golden age of Universal Horror with Son of Frankenstein, the 1939 classic that brings together three legendary figures of the Universal Monsters era: Boris Karloff as the Monster, Bela Lugosi as Ygor, and Basil Rathbone as Wolf von Frankenstein.

The story follows Wolf Frankenstein, the son of the original creator, as he returns to his family’s ancestral castle and becomes obsessed with continuing his father’s experiments. When he discovers that the Monster is still alive, he enlists the mysterious and sinister Ygor, leading to a chilling series of events.

Directed by Rowland V. Lee, Son of Frankenstein is one of the definitive sequels in the Universal Frankenstein series and is especially notable as Boris Karloff’s final appearance as Frankenstein’s Monster in a Universal feature.
