The Prophecy II VHS (1998) – Christopher Walken, Jennifer Beals, Brittany Murphy – Dimension Films – Supernatural Horror

Christopher Walken returns as the sinister angel Gabriel in The Prophecy II, the chilling second installment in the supernatural horror franchise. Blending biblical mythology, angelic warfare, and dark fantasy, this 1998 sequel is a great addition for collectors of ’90s horror VHS and supernatural thrillers.

Gabriel returns to Earth determined to prevent the birth of a child who could change the balance between Heaven and Hell. Valerie Rosales, a nurse carrying a half-human, half-angel child, becomes the target of a deadly celestial conflict. With the forces of Heaven and Hell closing in, she must rely on unexpected allies to protect her unborn child and humanity’s future.

Directed by Greg Spence, the film features Christopher Walken reprising his memorable role as Gabriel, alongside Jennifer Beals, Russell Wong, and Brittany Murphy. With Eric Roberts and Glenn Danzig also appearing, The Prophecy II delivers eerie supernatural imagery, apocalyptic stakes, and the dark atmosphere that made the series a cult favorite.
