Theater of Blood VHS (1973) – Vincent Price – Diana Rigg – R-Rated British Horror – Cult Classic

Prepare for a deliciously macabre tale of revenge with Theater of Blood, the 1973 British horror film starring legendary horror icon Vincent Price and Diana Rigg. Blending black comedy, theatrical murder, and Shakespearean vengeance, this cult classic is a must-have for fans of classic horror and vintage genre cinema.

Edward Lionheart is a once-celebrated Shakespearean actor whose career comes crashing down after London theater critics ridicule his performances and deny him the recognition he believes he deserves. Presumed dead after a failed suicide attempt, Lionheart returns with a horrifying plan for revenge. Using gruesome murders inspired by Shakespeare's plays, he begins targeting the critics who humiliated him, transforming his theatrical obsession into a series of elaborate and deadly performances.

Vincent Price delivers a wonderfully sinister performance as Lionheart, with Diana Rigg co-starring as his devoted daughter, Edwina. Directed by Douglas Hickox, Theater of Blood combines macabre humor, inventive murder sequences, and theatrical flair into one of the most memorable horror films of the 1970s.

A standout title for collectors of Vincent Price films, British horror, Shakespeare-inspired cinema, and cult classics, this VHS release brings vintage theatrical terror to your horror collection.
