The Twilight Zone Volume 3 VHS (1990) – “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet” / “The Odyssey of Flight 33” – William Shatner – Rod Serling
Step into another dimension with Volume 3 of The Twilight Zone, the legendary science-fiction anthology created by Rod Serling. This classic CBS/Fox Video VHS release features two unforgettable episodes packed with suspense, strange encounters, and mind-bending twists. A great collectible for fans of vintage television, classic sci-fi, and retro horror.
In “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet,” Robert Wilson (William Shatner) is flying home after recovering from a nervous breakdown when he spots a terrifying creature lurking on the wing of the airplane. Nobody else can see it, and every attempt to convince the crew leaves him looking increasingly unstable. As the plane continues through the clouds, Wilson desperately tries to stop the mysterious figure before it can bring the aircraft down.
In “The Odyssey of Flight 33,” a routine commercial flight suddenly veers off course and encounters a mysterious time anomaly. The crew discovers that their aircraft may have traveled into the distant past, where prehistoric creatures appear outside the plane. With no clear way back to their own time, the passengers and crew face an extraordinary aviation mystery.
Featuring Rod Serling’s signature narration and classic storytelling, these two episodes showcase why The Twilight Zone remains one of television’s most influential science-fiction series. This vintage CBS/Fox Video release is an excellent addition to any classic TV or VHS collection.
