XTRO 2: The Second Encounter VHS (1991) – New Line Home Video – Jan-Michael Vincent – Sci-Fi Horror

A secret scientific experiment unleashes an extraterrestrial nightmare in XTRO 2: The Second Encounter, a cult science-fiction horror film from the golden age of VHS creature features. Released on VHS by New Line Home Video in 1991, this sequel delivers underground laboratory suspense, alien terror, and plenty of early-’90s sci-fi horror atmosphere.

Deep beneath the surface, a team of scientists conducts a dangerous experiment involving travel between dimensions. When an expedition goes horribly wrong, something monstrous comes back through the gateway. Trapped inside a secret underground facility, the survivors must confront a deadly alien creature while racing to stop the experiment from causing an even greater catastrophe.

Starring Jan-Michael Vincent, Paul Koslo, Tara Buckman, and Nicholas Lea, XTRO 2 was directed by Harry Bromley Davenport. Its blend of practical creature effects, military action, claustrophobic settings, and extraterrestrial horror makes it a fun addition for collectors of vintage sci-fi VHS and cult monster movies.
